It's finally coming to the surface, something few have dared talk about, underlying reasons for the rancorous, outlandish displays of anti-Obama sentiment at right-wing rallies and marches around the country.

      Colleen, I don't believe Max was saying those who disagree are racists (remember VP Cheney calling everyone who disagreed with him "traitors"? Surely you didn't agree with that, either.) He's referring to those who hide their own latent (and not so latent) racism behind any topical disagreement they can come across. Unfortunately, I suspect there are more than a few out there who do, indeed, resent the fact that there is a black man heading the country. The US has, historically and statistically, been the last major country to accept blacks as equals. DT
